The first thing that I asked God
was just the reason why
when he took my precious daughter
beyond the stars in the sky
as we held on to her body
I then started to scream and shout
was this God so really kind
as people were making out
but my anger then turned to sadness
as we held her in our arms
she was still our beautiful daughter
truly an angel with all her charms
it was then I started to wonder
as my eyes filled up to cry
was my angel needed elsewhere

The Watcher
They always leaned to watch for us
Anxious if we were late,
In winter by the window,
In summer by the gate.
And though we mocked them tenderly
Who had such foolish care,
The long way home would seem more safe,
Because they waited there.
Their thoughts were all so full of us,
They never could forget,
And so I think that where they are
They must be watching yet.
Waiting ‘til we come home to them
Anxious if we are late
Watching from Heaven’s window
Leaning from Heaven’s gate.

I NEVER SAW YOUR WINGS
How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?
When you closed your eyes and soared
to the Heavens I could hear the
faint flutter of you wings as you left.
Your body no longer on this side
your spirit here eternally I see your halo shine.
I close my eyes and see the multicolored wings
surround me in my saddest moments and my happiest times.
Daughter my angel God has given you your assignment
always my daughter forever my angel.
You fly into my dreams and when I am asleep
I feel your wings brush against my face wiping away
the tears I shed since I can no longer hold
you in my arms but in my heart.
You earned those wings dear Dawn
and you will always be my angel eternal.

SORRY FOR THE LACK OF CANDLES LAST FEW DAYS. LOTS HAVE HAPPEN, MY SON CHRISTOPHER 16 WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. THANK GOD THAT HE'S OK. HE WAS ON HIS WAYTO FOOTBALL PRACTICE AND FELL ASLEEP DRIVING. I KNOW ANTHONY AND HIS GRANDFATHER MUST OF BEEN WATCHING OVER HIM. THANK GOD HE'S OK. ALSO BEEN WORKING ON MY HOUSE. IT MY HUSBANDS GLEN'S BIRTHDAY ON THE 26TH, JUST IS ALSO THANKSGIVING HERE AND TRYING TO MAKE IT SPECIAL FOR HIM AND MY FAMILY. SO SENDING YOU EXTRA LOVE AND (((HUGS))).
